Dillard Wills

Dillard Edward Wills was born February 11, 1895 in Plunders Creek, Hickman County, Tennessee. Dillard was the oldest of three children born to Eugen and Cora Wills. He had two younger sisters, Lula and Bulla. On December 24, 1914 Dillard married Alice May Gray. Dillard and Alice lived in Hickman and Dickson Counties. Dillard worked as a farmer and in timber.

Dillard and Alice had the following children:

1. Wilma Listonne - born February 17, 1917. Wilma passed away September 26, 2008.

2. Fate Lanier - born September 28, 1919 in Tennessee City, Tennessee. He died December 13, 1995.

3. Homer Hardin - born November 9, 1920. He married Mary Roberts on November 29, 1943. Homer passed away May 19, 2008

4. Sibyl Eugene - born August 23, 1923. She married Jackie Fielder.

5. Herbert Elmer - born March 30, 1924. Herbert passed away January 31, 2009.

6. Lillie Evelyn - (private)

7. Mabel - born December 19, 1927. She passed away December 19, 1927

8. Lula May - born March 12, 1929. Lula married W.E. Gibbs. She passed away October 14, 1998 in Madison Heighst, Michigan

9. Donald Odell - (private)

10. Annie Jean - (private)

11. Dillard Edward Jr. - (private)

Dillard passed away February 19, 1981 and Alice passed away May 13, 1982. They are both buried on Jason's Chapel Cemetery (formerly called Lucas Cemetery) in Garner's Creek Road, just past Jason Chapel Road, in Dickson County.
