Antone came to the United States with his family when he was 17. He settled near the Champaign, Illinois area. He went to Kentland as a meat-cutter for Reinhold Roth & Schneider Brothers Market. At the turn of the century he was Town Marshall and later he worked for 40 years for the New York Central Railroad.

Margaret and Antone lived in Kentland their entire lives. They build a home on South Third Street and moved into it in 1923.
