JP lived in Poplar Grove, Tennessee and in Michigan. They lived next door to Grandpa John Gray when the boys were young. JP learned many things, including how to work with metal at Grandpa's blacksmith shop. This became very valuable later. He was foreman for 17 years at the Chevrolet Engineering plat in STerling Heights, Michigan. They designed future autos and tested them. A person had to know five trades in order to be a foreman at the engineering plant. He taught his brothers the trade, also and he taught drafting. They moved back to Tennessee and JP and Bobby opened an auto body shop in McEwen. The body shop changed regular cars into limosines and they did a very good business until JP caught viral encephalitis and nearly died. Soon after JP and Wilma divorced. JP had been living with his mother and brother for his last 14 years. He has enjoyed woodworking, ginseng hunting, traveling and various part time jobs. He had been having heart problems and apparently died of a heart attack. | John Perkins ("Sandy" or "JP") SANDERS

From Janet (Stewart) Campa:
"Myrtle and Minnie went to Chicago after their mother, Margaret McCollun Stewart, died. They operated a hat and dress shop there. My father, Thomas James Stewart, stopped in to see them years later (I think it was the year of the Chicago World's Fair - Wally, Dad, Mother and Anne went). Myrtle and Minnie would not visit with him and he never spoke about it afterwards. He was very hurt and sad, I know. Mother told me that there was some misunderstandings about disposal of their Mother's property after she died in 1910." | Minne Lee STEWART

Myrthle and Minnie went to Chicago after their mother died. They operated a hat and dress shop there. Thomas James Stewart (Janet Campa's father) stopped in to see them years later. Janet believes it could have been the year of the World's Fair because her mother, father, brother Wally went. Myrtle and Minnie would not visit with Thomas and he never spoke about it afterwards. He was very hut and sad. Janet's mother told her that there was some misunderstandings about disposal of their Mother's property after she died in 1910. | Minne Lee STEWART
